Manufacturer: Dongguan Yunze Silicone Products Co., Ltd. — industrial silicone & rubber components, custom tooling, RoHS / REACH / FDA grades.
Extruded silicone sealing strips and profiles are used on equipment doors, control cabinets, hatches, windows and panel joints. They are specified where a compressible, UV- and temperature-stable seal is required over a long service life, typically from −40°C up to +200°C for standard grades and higher for specialist compounds.
Profile geometry. Provide a cross-section drawing or a cut sample. Solid, hollow, sponge, lip and bulb profiles each suit different closing forces: hollow and sponge profiles need less compression force, solid profiles resist higher pressure.
Compression set and squeeze. Design for roughly 20–30% compression on the seal height so the profile continues to seal after aging. State the gap tolerance the seal has to absorb.
Hardness. Shore A 40–60 covers most enclosure seals; softer compounds follow uneven surfaces, firmer compounds resist extrusion under pressure.
Environment. Cleaning agents, oils, coolants, ozone and UV exposure all decide whether a standard silicone or a specialist compound is needed.
Strips can be supplied with adhesive backing, push-in barb, or as a plain extrusion for mechanical retention. Where the seal meets a corner, mitred or moulded corner pieces reduce leak paths. Confirm the retention method before tooling, because it often changes the profile.
